The first Comfort Zone Camp session was held outside of Richmond, Virginia in May of 1999. Comfort Zone held two weekend camps in Virginia that first year, and has since held over 60 camps in its home state.

In 2009, there will be 10 total Comfort Zone Camp sessions in Virginia, including one four-day, and one six-day camp.

Permanent camp plans
Comfort Zone has plans to build a flagship camp in Virginia, where we can hold several week-long camps in the summer. We are currently looking for donated or discounted land. Our goal is to find 100 to 200 acres of land within 90 minutes of Richmond’s airport. If you know of any such land available, please contact us at info@comfortzonecamp.org.
