The New Jersey Comfort Zone Camps are held at Camp Mason, in Hardwick, near Blairstown, and Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center, in Lebanon Township, near Califon. 

 

Directions to Camp Mason:

Camp Mason is located north of the Delaware Water Gap, in rural Warren County. It is about 1.2 hours from the George Washington Bridge, and 2 hours from North Philadelphia, traffic expected. 

 

To reach Camp Mason, take the most direct route to Interstate 80, near the New Jersey, Pennsylvania border. From the New York area, take I-280, I-287 or the GSP to I-80. From the shore, take the GSP to I-287 or I280 to I-80. From Trenton/east Philadelphia routes 31 or 206 north to I-80. From west Philadelphia, or Bucks County rt. 611 N or the N.E. extension to 78/22, east to rt. 33 then North to I-80 East.

 

From Interstate 80 West Bound (New York City and New Jersey)

• Take exit 12, Blairstown/Hope. Proceed North off the ramp on 521, towards Blairstown
• Travel to the end of this long and widing road. At end, turn left onto Rte. 94 (The Forge restaurant is on left corner - a blue house with burgundy red shutters)
• Proceed ¼ mile to Sunoco and Valero gas stations (on your left). Opposite the gas stations, turn right onto Academy Street, and then a quick right onto Main Street.
• Follow "From Blairstown" directions below

 

From Interstate 80 East Bound (Pennsylvania and Del Water Gap)

• Take exit 4C (Blairstown, Rte 94 North)
• Follow Rte. 94 North to Blairstown (approx. 7 miles)
• You will pass an A&P center and go through one traffic light. At Valero gas station (on your right) turn left onto Academy Street, and then a quick right onto Main Street.
• Follow "From Blairstown" directions below

 

From Blairstown 

• Travel along Main Street. At the old mill with stone arches (waterfalls and park behind) bear left at the Re/Max Real Estate building and go up short, steep hill. 
• At top of hill, bear left at split, and proceed towards Millbrook, on Millbrook Rd (multi-camp signs on corner). As you continue to drive, water/a pond will be on your left.
• Stay on Millbrook Rd. for about 3 miles. Just past Princeton Camp, turn right onto watch for Birch Ridge Rd. Sign for YMCA Camp Mason is on a tree at the corner. 
• Pass one house. Turn left into Camp Mason. Proceed to the end of the driveway into the parking lot.
• Meet us in the Dining Hall.

**When exiting Camp Mason, turn right out of the driveway.

 

 

 

Directions to Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center:

**Cross Roads is located in Lebanon Township, 2 miles northwest of Califon, in the Northwestern tip of Hunterdon County in New Jersey.  There are two different Pleasant Grove Roads in the area! We strongly advise that you use these directions and not those from Internet sites such as Google or Mapquest.

 

From the South:

• Take NJ Route 31 North (Intersects I-95 & I-295 on the north side of Trenton
• Follow Route 31 North through Flemington and continue toward Clinton.
• 2 miles after crossing over I-78 at Clinton, TURN RIGHT onto Route 513 North
• Follow Route 513 North through High Bridge and continue on Route 513 North into Califon
• In Califon, after the A & P store on left, TURN LEFT onto Sliker Rd.
• Go 1.5 miles and TURN RIGHT onto Pleasant Grove Rd
• In less than a mile, Cross Roads will be on your left.

 

From the Southwest (Allentown, PA region or Phillipsburg):

• Follow Route 31 North through Flemington and continue toward Clinton.
• Take I-78 East into New Jersey at Phillipsburg Continue on I-78 and exit onto Route 31 North (Exit #16) - toward Washington
• 2 miles after crossing over I-78 at Clinton, TURN RIGHT onto Route 513 North
• Follow Route 513 North through High Bridge and continue on Route 513 North into Califon
• In Califon, after the A & P store on left, TURN LEFT onto Sliker Rd.
• Go 1.5 miles and TURN RIGHT onto Pleasant Grove Rd
• In less than a mile, Cross Roads will be on your left.

 

Alternate from Phillipsburg (Washington):

• Take Route 57 East towards Hackettstown
• About 4 miles after Washington, take a right onto Penwell Road
• Follow this road for 3 miles.
• Make a right onto Califon Road and follow for about 2 miles. This turns into Pleasant Grove Rd
• Cross Roads is on the right

 

From the Southeast (Jersey Shore Area):

• Take Garden State Parkway North
• Exit at I-287 North (also West) immediately after crossing over the Raritan River Bridge.
• Follow I-287 to I-78 West (toward Easton, PA).
• Take Exit 24 and make a right off the ramp onto County Hwy 523 north toward Oldwick.
• In about 6 miles, take a left & onto Fairmount Road and follow  through Califon for about 4 miles.
• Turn right at the T onto High Bridge-Califon Rd and then take a quick left onto Sliker Road.
• Follow Sliker for 1.6 miles and take a right onto Pleasant Grove Road.
• The camp is a mile ahead on the left.

 

From the Northeast:

• Take I-80 West from the New York City metro area.
• Take Exit #27 and follow Route 206 South into Chester (about 8 miles).
• In Chester, take a right onto 513 West and follow for about 10 miles into Califon.
• In Califon, right before the A & P store, TURN RIGHT onto Sliker Rd.
• Go 1.5 miles and TURN RIGHT onto Pleasant Grove Rd.
• In less than a mile, Cross Roads will be on your left.

 

From the Northwest  (Pocono Region and Western Pennsylvania):
 

• Take I-80 East and enter New Jersey at the Delaware Water Gap.
• 4.5 miles into New Jersey, exit I-80 onto 46 East.
• Follow 46 for about 10 miles into Buttzville and then TURN RIGHT onto Route 31 South.
• Follow 31 for 6 miles into Washington and then TURN LEFT onto Route 57.
• In about 4 miles, take a right onto Penwell Road. Follow this road for 3 miles.
• Make a right onto Califon Road and follow for about 2 miles. It becomes Pleasant Grove Road.
• Cross Roads is on the right.
