Comfort Zone envisions a world where grieving children are not forgotten or left to grieve alone, and are supported by a wide community that understands and appreciates them.
While Comfort Zone is best known for our free camps to grieving children 7-17, our service offerings continue to grow to reach more people in different life stages, in different settings; and to educate the community around them.
Help us in this mission.

National Advocacy - In 2010 Comfort Zone Camp will launch a national education and advocacy campaign to help the general public understand what it means to lose a loved one as a child, and how to support grieving families.
Support Groups - Comfort Zone provides free eight-week support groups several times a year for children 5-18, and their parents, so that the family can focus on their individual grief simultaneously.

Online Network - In 2010, Comfort Zone will launch a new Web site to connect grieving persons across the nation — reaching audiences never before touched by Comfort Zone. |
|
Young Adult Camps - Bereaved adults 18-24 are woefully underserved. That is why Comfort Zone is tripling the number of camps for this age group next year, including holding the first ever young adult camps in Ca and NJ.
Parent Camps - In 2009 Comfort Zone hosted their first bereavement camp for parents. We will hold our second in 2010, and plan to grow this program to reach parents across the nation.
