For many campers, Comfort Zone is the first place that they are able to share the story of their loss in their own words, the first time they are able to think through the events surrounding their loss, and begin addressing their grief.
We are dedicated to removing the barriers to get a grieving child to camp — we offer travel scholarships, provide t-shirts and back packs, loan sleeping bags, pillows, flashlights, whatever our campers need to keep the focus on having a good time and healing.
