That is why from 2007 to 2009, Comfort Zone doubled the number of grieving children who attended camp — all free of charge. Next year, we plan to double that number again.
|
In order to meet this goal, we need your help. We aim to raise $150,000 by the end of the year. Over the next five weeks you will receive five emails from us, sharing different aspects of how your donation to Comfort Zone helps grieving children. You can also skip ahead by visiting the Healing Gift homepage.
With your help, we will heal more broken hearts than ever before.

To double the number of campers who attend Comfort Zone in 2010, we are increasing the number of camp sessions by 10; adding a fifth state location in Austin, Texas; and holding "satellite" mini-camps in states near-by our weekend-long camp locations, including New York, and North Carolina.
The satellite mini-camps will allow Comfort Zone to serve up to 120 grieving children and their parents in one weekend, reaching families untouched by Comfort Zone before.
