Three-day program in Florida

Comfort Zone Camp and the Mark Wandall Foundation announce a free three-day program for children and teens ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or guardian.

Comfort Zone offers activities designed to break the isolation bereaved kids often feel, provides a community of peers who can personally relate to their experience, and shares healthy coping skills for managing grief in their daily lives.

In addition to a variety of traditional camp activities, campers and their mentors participate in age-based support groups designed to give each camper the opportunity to talk about their experiences and receive support and validation from their peers.

-Ages 7-17 (18 if in high school)
-No charge to attend.
-Registration is required.

Comfort Zone Provides Grieving Children:

-A FUN camp environment
-A dedicated one-on-one mentor (Big Buddy)
-Support and validation from peers
-Opportunity to share their experiences & feelings
-Memorial to say goodbye and honor loved ones
-Healthy coping skills for after camp
