Get Involved
There are many ways you can get involved with Comfort Zone Camp:
Become a volunteer - Comfort Zone Camp needs about 85 volunteers each camp weekend. Adults 18 and up are needed as Big Buddies, paired one-to-one with a camper. Teens 15-18 are needed as Junior Counselors. Licensed counselors and grief therapists are needed to facilitate our age-based support groups, and registered nurses are needed to administer medications and serve as on-site on-call throughout the weekend. Refer families - All Comfort Zone services are free to the family, our greatest challenge is awareness. If you know of a family in need of our services, share Comfort Zone Camp with them. Our camper application is online. We can also mail a hard-copy application upon request. If you do not feel comfortable sharing Comfort Zone directly and would like for us to send anonymous information to a family in need, contact us. Learn more>>
Donate - In order to continue providing free camps and support groups to grieving families, Comfort Zone needs your financial support. Any amount helps. $500 sends a kid to camp. Learn more>>
Fundraise - Spread the word about Comfort Zone while hosting a fundraiser, and Get in The Zone. Learn more>>
